¡VAMOS! Latin American Carnival Stage at South Shields Ampitheatre

Proving that the North East now has a sizeable and vibrant Latin American community join RumbaNe, Burundanga and Morenada Kantuta at the South Shields Amphitheatre for the final day of ¡VAMOS! 2011 with a special event thanks to our Mouth of the Tyne Festival friends!

This is the first time ¡VAMOS! has presented a programme at the South Shields site so let's get ALL friends and family down to make it a day to remember! There will be an eclectic mix of traditional musical styles from South America accompanied by live music and dancing. DJ Alx Alfaro will be spinning Latin Global Beats to start proceedings, Rumba NE return after the amazing Tyne Carnival to perform live followed by Yuvel and Michelle teaching you to Zumba! Special guests Morenada Kantuta will bring the sights and sounds of Bolivia’s national dance to the North-East for the first time!
