A special series of FREE talks at Newcastle University...
Newcastle lecturer Dr. Jorge Catalá Carrasco will offer a fresh personal take on contemporary Latin American Literature with his talk “The Praise of Reading”, to enthuse the audience to explore the work of well known writers such as Gabriel García Marquez or Mario Vargas Llosa, or to engage in the lesser-known works...
With over a million books in total, and a wealth of electronic material, the Robinson Library holds an exciting collection of resources for Latin American literature, culture, film, music and language. On June, 18th, come and visit with Lucy Keating a display showcasing the Library's print and online resources relating to Latin American literature, history, culture, music, film and language (more info).
