A festival highlight featuring a special performance of Sergio Camacho’s opera ‘Beyond the Milestone’, by theatre company Teatro de Nieve. A magic story about love, loss, jealousy and betrayal, ‘Beyond the Milestone’ is a reinvention of the traditional Spanish Zarzuela, a musical genre that combines spoken dialogue with songs. Teatro de Nieve has taken this tradition further by creating a unique combination of poetry, music, drama, live orchestra, contemporary dance and visual art. ‘Beyond the Milestone’ is a powerful and visionary production and unlike anything you have seen so far.
