After the SALSA shenanigans, what better way to indulge than a return to Saltwell Park where over 1000 people came to the 2006 ¡VAMOS! Picnic. This time around we’ve a distinct Portuguese flavour featuring:
Dead Combo live - think ‘Paris Texas’ era Ry Cooder, with bluesy Tom Waits atmospherics! Plus Jose Luis Peixoto - a special reading from this internationally renowned new writer.

Plus dance demonstrations, craft stalls and Portuguese, Spanish and Latin American food from La Viña Restaurant (they sold out last time!) and much more. A real family friendly event in a magnificent location... FREE too!
