A special evening of music and film. The documentary film ‘The Spirit of the Andes’ gives context to Agustín Fernández’s String Quartet No. 1, ‘Montes’ and explores the life and work of Bolivian painter Fernando Montes, who died in London last year. Director Verónica Souto (of ‘Cardboard Days’ fame, and also Walter Salles’s assistant for ‘The Motorcycle Diaries’)
will be with us to introduce the film and answer questions.
