New download from DJ Vamanos!
We are very pleased to receive a brand new mix from DJ Vamanos for the festival this year! You can download it here. Vamanos run's the ghettobassquake.com music blog and had this to say about his mix….
'This is a mix of some tracks that I've been playing in my sets recently and some that I've posted at my blog, Ghettobassquake.com. Much of what I cover there is new music from Latin America, Africa & the caribbean and i'm really interested in where sounds from those continents cross over and continue to inspire each other from Colombian Champeta to Angolan Kuduro to Mexican Tribal music and beyond. Personally, I really love jump up party music and this is the kind of set that I've been playing at the Secousse club in London where I've been a resident for the last couple of years. The night is focussed on world wide ghetto party music where we're lucky to have a very open minded crowd that seem to go mental to most of the stuff we hit them with. I can't wait to come back to Newcastle. The NoName parties at The Tyne have also been one the best crowds I've ever played to, pure energy. It's an honour to be invited again.'
Don't forget you can catch Vamanos at the NONAME event on June 18th at The Tyne alongside Matias Aguayo, Capracara, Ana Helder, Antonio Morales and Alx Alfaro. More info here.
